JOANNE CAREY - I wanted to do some volunteer work as I am now retired. I live in Big Moose year round now. My friend drives and I asked her about it. I like to drive so I thought it would be something I could do. I think it is a valuable service to have in the mountain town that we live in and near. We have doctor services available but not a hospital or a variety of specialist doctors. We transport many older residents who don’t drive or are in need of transportation. It is truly a valuable service for many and am happy to do my part to keep it running.
